The Story Thus Far:

The Once-ler has successfully freed Martel Yggdrasil from captivity, bringing her to the woods for safety. Martel, afraid of the retribution this might bring, pleaded Once-ler to tell no one that she has escaped. Once-ler then returned to the Resistance, only telling Ino about what had happened. Martel meanwhile traveled the woods alone until she met up with Zack Fair, the now embittered mercenary that's been doing what he can to stay alive and free in this setting.

However it wasn't as though Martel's disappearance went without notice. Mithos noticed his sister's absence and has set out all stops to find her. Whether or not you know of Martel's release, it's hard not to notice the larger number of angels around - even if some appear less than intimidating. Because of this, the small traveling group of Zelos Wilder, Arya Stark and Genis Sage have decided to travel to the mountains to use the stronger winds for safe haven from any lifeless angels until they can stronger.

Meanwhile back in the Resistance, efforts to fight back still persist. The inventors are having struggles in creating better keycrests for their loved ones  that have been transformed into angels. In the less tech part of the Resistance, Tsuna and Allen continued their efforts to revert angels back to their former selves. They were successful in converting Mithos's former assassin Sheena, but due to some mishaps Maladict escaped from their attempts.

Oh and Garry moped.

With all these different teams going on, what will be the next thing to occur? Will things turn in favor to the Resistance, or will it only get worse? Will Garry ever stop moping? Will any of you remember to use the damn journal? Only time will tell...

[OOC: This post has two services, first as a recap as you seen above, as well as a mass open post for all the on-goings you rather not make an entire post for! Feel free to use this post as such or simply make your own post in the comm, it matters not! As for amount of time, while the game is very flexible we'll set it to be still a few days after the staring point of the game cause why not]

[Dropping the melodramatic act, he'll straighten up at their words. Well as long as she doesn't shove him into a tree that is less work for him, so he'll nod]

Nymeria will lead you back to the cave. [ She hesitates before letting go of Arya's hand. ]

Do not take long.

I won't. [ Terrorizing a kid with a 5'6" wolf shouldn't take long at all. ] Come on, you.

[ Arya scrambles off, Nymeria at her heels. ]

[Poor poor Genis. Zelos watches her go, putting his hands in his pockets. Finally when she's out of sight, he'll turn to look at Dany to lead or speak or whatever. ]

[ Snap.

Hear that? No? Well that's okay. You'll hear the next thing, the sounds of gunshots echo throughout the forest followed quickly by a man yelling obscenities at the top of his lungs as he runs for his goddamn life. The voice might be familiar, maybe it wont, who knows. What is important is that this guy (who is currently insulting his pursers in chinese, trust me if they knew what he was saying they'd be super made.... er) is not at all being stealthy.

He's being loud as fuck.

So you might want to find out what is going on or tell him to shut the fuck up because he's going to give everyone away with all that shooting and yelling.

Don't worry though, with a loud amount of noise the man in question barrels out from some bushes and comes slamming into the ground. Without so much as a pause he rolls himself back up and takes a moment to check behind himself─well mostly taking a moment to catch his god damn breath. ]

These bastards don't give up do they?

[ He's dirty, bleeding, and smells like he hasn't had a shower in weeks if not months. Sorry if he just barreled into your little campsite or... anything else, really he is just in a rush is all. Being chased and so forth. Hahaha. ]

[He shakes it quickly and withdraws it, afraid that crazy angelic strength might go and tear her hand off if he's not careful.]

Yeah, so...are you part of the Resistance, Sheena?

Well, I am! Kind of. I try to help out as much as I can, but...I'm not really the best at fighting or anything. Plus, all this about being an angel rather makes me stick out like a sore thumb...

[He's just that oddball who nobody likes having around, really.]

But why aren't you? They would protect you, you know!

[Zoe definitely recognizes that voice. She would know it anywhere. But you know, she always thought he wasn't IN Paradisa so she didn't pay it no mind. Maybe it was some other idiot who was similar to him about to get himself killed by angels. ]

[She meanwhile was keeping low, trying to gather firewood for dinner. It's easy for her to be stealthy, she had known how to do that long before this place went to hell]

[But seeing this guy stumble into her range of vision? Makes even the coolest and calmest soldier freeze up]

[ And guess where this little guy just woke up? Right dead center in the lobby, even! Well, he's waking up. A little slow on the uptake because he feels like he's been asleep for another century, and this time there is some confusing overlap keeping him from remembering the last thing he was doing.

This equals migraine. ]

Ugh, my head...

[ Sir?

For a brief moment Mal completely forgets about running for his life, the past two years of effective hell is pushed from his mind. That voice... he knows that voice, he'd know that voice anywhere. Hell he'd kiss the owner of that voice right now if she wasn't married and he─ ]

Zoe?

[ Mal stares and blinks rapidly, half expecting her to disappear each time that he blinks, but she doesn't. She doesn't. ]

Zoe! [ Sorry but he's crossing the space between them with a few long strides and hugging her. He'll apologize to Wash later. ]

Yeah, great tip. Except that's what I've been doing for the last several day. A lot of good did that do me...

[He holds it up, examining it first, before slowly trying to put it on. It takes a minute or so, because those pesky wings don't seem to want to cooperate with being lifted in awkward positions, but eventually he gets the hand of it and puts them in place, standing and turning around so Once-ler can see.]

Hey! That's pretty nice...how does it look?

[Zoe herself is staring as if she's expecting him to disappear. It had been hard, going through another warzone without her captain. Only when he hugs her, does it really confirm that he's real and she'll hug back in a comradely way, relief showing on her face. ]

[If anything, this was a bit of normalcy now, even if she has no idea what he's doing here.]

Good to see you here, sir. But...why do you smell so much?

[Yeah, okay it's not Zoe without the snark]

[Hey Ofatar how you doing?]

[The lobby itself is full of people with angel wings, hovering a bit above the ground as they mill around, or head to one place or another. Overall though? They seem completely devoid of emotion]

[On the bright side? They haven't noticed you yet]

[ Don't worry, he'll be sure to ruin that spot of luck as soon as he actually looks around. Any bit of lethargy is immediately gone as he stands up to gawk. He's never seen people with wings before!

Wait, hasn't he? ...Never this many before, but he has! In— ]

Paradisa!

[The angels still don't seem to do anything at all that notes they recognized the presence of Aang, even if he spoke. Like they are completely unaware what's going on...]

[ He doesn't notice that oddity right away, as he knows people wake up in the lobby a lot, so it's not exactly considered a big deal. The only thing he really finds off is that there are so many people with wings.

And also that he's here in the first place. Where has he been? He's been somewhere, but it wasn't home. Chewing on his lip out of anxiety, a sense of something off, Aang decides he should just talk to somebody. The nearest somebody, who he'll touch on the arm when he realizes they don't seem to be paying any attention to him. ]

Excuse me! This is Paradisa, isn't it?

[angelzombies]

[Oh the angel sure notices the arm touching. But instead of answering the question? The Angel simply turns, grabs Aang by the arm he touched by, and throws him across the room]

[Meanwhile the other angels are definitely paying attention now and turning towards where Aang was thrown]

Whoa—!

[ Yeah, that's surprising. What's even more surprising is his lack of reaction in terms of bending, or at least it would be to anyone who knew him. Instead he nearly crashes right into a pillar, pure reflex throwing out a gust of wind just enough to keep him from actually denting it.

He's still dazed and alarmed, but it's enough of a jolt to jog some memories. That's right, he was in the Spirit World. There hadn't been any fighting, or bending, or anything like that.

But this isn't, so... ]

I can bend again!

[ Oh wait, but he doesn't want to! Not like this, anyway. Still, he holds out a hand and looks at the mob suddenly advancing on him. He might not have a choice. ]

Wait, I'm not an enemy! I've lived here, just like you do. I just wanted to ask some questions.

[angelzombies]

[yeah, the angels don't care if you're another resident. Many of them are drawing weapons as they move in a circle around him. When one speaks, its in a very monotone way]

Human target acquired. Orders are to detain or eliminate.

[ofatar]

Detain, detain!

[ No wait. ]

I mean, none of the above!

[ That's a big gust of air coming at y'all, as Aang just tries to break an opening so he can gun for the door. ]

[angelzombies]

[The gust will definitely throw them off for they did not see that coming, they fall back some. But it won't hold them off for long. As soon as they recover? They are flying after you]

[ofatar]

[ Just before Aang makes it outside, he quickly wishes aloud for his glider. Surely that will be the ticket! Except— OH NO, ENEMIES THAT CAN FLY. THIS IS THE WORST THING EVER.

Especially when he completely fails at his first attempt to use the glider, nearly crashing into another pillar right at the top of the steps. A second attempt gets him in the air, but barely in time. ]

[angelzombies]

[I KNOW YOU NO LONGER HAVE YOUR AIRBEND ADVANTAGE. And the angels follow after, even when he gets into the air, they simply raise their wings higher. And at the entrance a couple more intimidating angels seem to notice the chaos and start to follow after him. Sure hope you're more skillful than these guys.]
