MASS OPEN POST
The Story Thus Far:
The Once-ler has successfully freed Martel Yggdrasil from captivity, bringing her to the woods for safety. Martel, afraid of the retribution this might bring, pleaded Once-ler to tell no one that she has escaped. Once-ler then returned to the Resistance, only telling Ino about what had happened. Martel meanwhile traveled the woods alone until she met up with Zack Fair, the now embittered mercenary that's been doing what he can to stay alive and free in this setting.
However it wasn't as though Martel's disappearance went without notice. Mithos noticed his sister's absence and has set out all stops to find her. Whether or not you know of Martel's release, it's hard not to notice the larger number of angels around - even if some appear less than intimidating. Because of this, the small traveling group of Zelos Wilder, Arya Stark and Genis Sage have decided to travel to the mountains to use the stronger winds for safe haven from any lifeless angels until they can stronger.
Meanwhile back in the Resistance, efforts to fight back still persist. The inventors are having struggles in creating better keycrests for their loved ones that have been transformed into angels. In the less tech part of the Resistance, Tsuna and Allen continued their efforts to revert angels back to their former selves. They were successful in converting Mithos's former assassin Sheena, but due to some mishaps Maladict escaped from their attempts.
Oh and Garry moped.
With all these different teams going on, what will be the next thing to occur? Will things turn in favor to the Resistance, or will it only get worse? Will Garry ever stop moping? Will any of you remember to use the damn journal? Only time will tell...
[OOC: This post has two services, first as a recap as you seen above, as well as a mass open post for all the on-goings you rather not make an entire post for! Feel free to use this post as such or simply make your own post in the comm, it matters not! As for amount of time, while the game is very flexible we'll set it to be still a few days after the staring point of the game cause why not]

THE TOWN
/quietly slips this in here
you might notice, anyway. he's trying not to be within notice. which means, by natural laws, someone should notice him.
after a while, he just sort of ... looks up]
Odd. I would've thought there'd be more people here.
[fail, Lemony.]

[But he stalls when he spots a person out of the corner of his eye. In front of a cafe like it's an ordinary day in a non-hellish place. He certainly doesn't read like an angel]
[So...don't mind as he stares because what the hell is that?]
no subject
Sir! SIR! Oh, please come down, sir -- it's not safe up there. And -- and --
[oh come on, what do people always say about this ...? oh right]
I'd tell you it wasn't worth it, but honestly, I haven't your prism of experience, so I couldn't be certain...
no subject
-- Sir, are you mad?!
no subject
No, but I am considerably distraught! Please, please come down from there, you could fall and sustain considerable injury, including but not limited to death!
no subject
W-What?!
Sir- I'm fine! But you're in a lot of danger being out in the street like that!

Wow what is this guy even doing? He glances around, cautious, before stepping slowly forward. After all, it could be a trap]
Uh... menu guy? You do know you're not going to get any service here, right? On account of the fact...well, that pretty much everyone is dead.
no subject
DEAD?! ... I --
[he fumbles in the battered leather messenger bag at his side, until he finds a much-less-battered notebook, which he leafs through, carefully] ... I hadn't realized it was ...
[he looks back up from his notes, hesitantly, the menu having been toppled during his scrambling] Is it truly that horrible, sir?
no subject
...Have you not been paying attention to anything in the past two years...at all?
no subject
[so he's not Crazy, he's just a different flavor of One Of Those]
no subject
You were brought in by the castle?
...Wow, you're lucky, most people never even get out.

[Garry tiptoes within the town as silent as he can, black wings folded neatly against his back, eyes and ears keenly open for any sign that something is wrong.]
[Wait a second...that's a voice! That's a voice? And they just said "there should be more people here"...what did that mean? He rushes towards the voice as fast as he can, and when he's actually within a few feet of the cafe he just stops and stares like a deer in headlights. What-what is that man doing?]
Um. Hello??
[He doesn't have wings, and the fact that he's talking means he's not an angel, but...who in their right mind would hang around this forsaken place?]
Um, sir, I-I don't think you should be here...
no subject
Oh, dear. Is the food really that terrible?
no subject
[And he glances around with acute worry before striding up to him, offering him a hand. If they got out of here without any angels noticing...]
Come on, let's get to the forest before one decides to patrol around here...really, staying in town isn't the best plan!

The most striking thing might be the fact that her rather plain brown cloak? Is caked with mud and other debris from a trip to the forest, but there's more. She's got flecks of dried blood everywhere. Old blood, this didn't happen recently. She just sucks at taking care of herself.
Don't worry though, it isn't hers. Whoops.]
Ah..

He had to see it. It felt like his duty as the Avatar. Even if this wasn't his old home, it had become a sort of mildly-resented and hesitantly-loved second home. And just like before, he had abandoned it. He couldn't have known what would eventually happen, but that didn't make him feel better.
Unwilling to be so brazen yet as to actually fly in the open again (and besides his glider is still damaged, his skills still shaky), Aang instead high-tails it to the city on foot, though it doesn't take him much longer at all.
He stops in a sudden burst when he sees a lone person standing in the square, a cloud of dust surging up and clearing the cobblestone around them. Looking a bit sheepish at his lack of control, Aang waves a hand to get their attention and calls out.
Never mind that he was attacked the last time he openly tried to get someone's attention here. This person doesn't have wings, so they must be an ally, right? ]
Hey! Are you okay?
no subject
For someone who appears to be older, the way she watches the sand sift through her fingers almost seems childlike. When the final grain falls and mixes with the dirt below, she shifts a bit so she can poke a nearby bit of cobblestone with her toe. Unfortunately, it isn't enough of a distraction for her to forget about the boy.
Following a lengthy pause, where she does little more than stare at him
creepily, she takes a moment to observe the uninhabited town. Her next statement should have brought her pride, but she doesn't appear to feel anything at all.]They should have known.. it's impossible.
no subject
The people who lived here?
no subject
[While she doesn't elaborate further, she does look down at the front of her cloak. Let's see if Aang can put two and two together.]

[His care might have been touching for any other person but, for her? All it did was bring confusion. Idly, she takes this time to try and pick some of the dried bits off of her clothing. When she finds the attempt is a fruitless task, she opts to smooth a nonexistent wrinkle out of said cloak.]
no subject
Well, your bare feet are still yours, at the very least...
no subject
[As if on cue she wiggles her toes a little. What a curious person, to concentrate on her feet rather than the looming danger.]
