The Story Thus Far:

The Once-ler has successfully freed Martel Yggdrasil from captivity, bringing her to the woods for safety. Martel, afraid of the retribution this might bring, pleaded Once-ler to tell no one that she has escaped. Once-ler then returned to the Resistance, only telling Ino about what had happened. Martel meanwhile traveled the woods alone until she met up with Zack Fair, the now embittered mercenary that's been doing what he can to stay alive and free in this setting.

However it wasn't as though Martel's disappearance went without notice. Mithos noticed his sister's absence and has set out all stops to find her. Whether or not you know of Martel's release, it's hard not to notice the larger number of angels around - even if some appear less than intimidating. Because of this, the small traveling group of Zelos Wilder, Arya Stark and Genis Sage have decided to travel to the mountains to use the stronger winds for safe haven from any lifeless angels until they can stronger.

Meanwhile back in the Resistance, efforts to fight back still persist. The inventors are having struggles in creating better keycrests for their loved ones  that have been transformed into angels. In the less tech part of the Resistance, Tsuna and Allen continued their efforts to revert angels back to their former selves. They were successful in converting Mithos's former assassin Sheena, but due to some mishaps Maladict escaped from their attempts.

Oh and Garry moped.

With all these different teams going on, what will be the next thing to occur? Will things turn in favor to the Resistance, or will it only get worse? Will Garry ever stop moping? Will any of you remember to use the damn journal? Only time will tell...

As for amount of time, while the game is very flexible we'll set it to be still a few days after the staring point of the game cause why not]

The caves are a big step away from that, but hey, I can still find my own quiet little corners when I need them. There are a lot of tunnels after all.

[He'll go back to working on his keycrest, leaving it up to her if she still wants to talk or not. Former angels needed the baby step treatment, after all]

[He doesn't understand. That was a memory she had forgotten up until that moment. Settling into the furs, she draws her knees up and rests her chin on them to watch him.

The quiet is nice; it allows her to take those baby steps and sort through everything. Eventually, Once-ler may or may not hear a certain sound, but if he looks, he'll see a certain event--something she hasn't been able to do in two years.

Cry.]

[He hadn't noticed at first, after all he was pretty engrossed in his work. He'd almost forgotten she was even there. But that sound makes him look up.

Oh. Oh damn. He gets off his makeshift chair to sit beside her, long legs stretched out as best as he can in the small space. He's watches her for a moment, before sighing and putting a hand on her shoulder]

It'll take time. But it'll get easier.

[At first, Sheena is so wrapped up in her grief that she's a little uncomprehending when she sees his legs stretching out next to hers that it takes her a moment to realize who they belong to. Thankfully, she does just in time to not flinch as much when he touches her.

She turns to him, her expression one of sheer shock behind the tears.]

You touched me.

[Whatever you do, Once-ler, don't remove that hand.]

[For once, the Once-ler is tactful enough to not move his hand. He casts her a confused look, though]

Uh...yeah? It's not like it's catching, y'know.

[ninjainviolet]

But-- After what I did--

[She's still trying to wrap her mind around this whole forgiving thing.]

[whichwayyoulean]

I already told you. [He offers her a smile] You're not the first and you won't be the last. It's fine, really.

[ninjainviolet]

[She's a stubborn one, remember? Even about this.]

[She lets her head fall back against the rock wall.]

Everyone's being too nice to me, but Once-ler... [With him, it's different. He's a friend from before.] Thank you.

[whichwayyoulean]

Well, we're not about to beat you witch sticks or anything if that's what you were expecting.

[He gives a shrug, trying to brush the kindness off] It's okay.

[ninjainviolet]

[She looks at him--maybe with amusement, maybe not.]

It's what I wanted, though.

[Another pause.]

I mean it. I haven't been able to say anything like that for so long to anyone.

[whichwayyoulean]

And now you have. I'll give you a little cake if you like.

[ninjainviolet]

[That's not the best thing to say to her right now, since she's taking it as a dismissal of her first venture into something other than anger, which of course, rears its ugly head.]

Just forget I said anything.

[whichwayyoulean]

[Trust him to ruin everything]

What? Just like that?

[Not him; her. She's the one who ruins things, remember?]

I'm not good at the nicer things, Once-ler--not anymore. You know that.

[whichwayyoulean]

[He's certain he could take her on in that. Ruining Things Olympics. That's them]

And I've never been good at them, what's your point?

[ninjainviolet]

[Just let her get to her normal self. Banshee beats Hermit.]

I guess none. Except I think we're even now.
